John E. LaMacchia, M.D. is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with subspecialty fellowship training in Surgery of the Spine. Dr. LaMacchia was named “2013 Doctor of the Year” by Crittenton Hospital.  Conditions that are treated by Dr. LaMacchia include degenerative changes of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine. This includes herniated disks, spinal stenosis and degenerative disk disease, vertebral compression fractures due to trauma or osteoporosis, as well as spinal deformities such as scoliosis, kyphosis and spondylolisthesis. Dr. LaMacchia strives to provide exceptional patient care by educating his patients about their condition and available treatment options from non-operative initially, followed by surgical options including less invasive procedures when appropriate.

Andrew Ciarlone, D.O. compliments our Practice with his interest in Sports Medicine and disorders of the Hip, Knee and Shoulder. He has extensive experience in the arthroscopic treatment of knee and shoulder injuries, as well as minimally invasive hip, knee and shoulder replacement.

He also specializes in the Direct Anterior Approach – Hip Replacement. This approach involves a smaller incision, no detaching of muscles or tendons, improved component positioning, equal leg lengths, decreased dislocation rates and decreased hospital stays.

Meredith Wood, PA-C, specializes in clinical management of disorders related to the knee and has extensive experience as a surgical first assistant in orthopaedic surgery. Meredith also coordinates clinical studies which investigate surgical outcomes for total knee replacement and partial knee replacement.

Shaunnah Anderson, PA-C, specializes in clinical management of disorders related to the knee and has extensive experience as surgical first assistant in orthopaedic surgery.  Shaunnah is Board Certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants. She is also a member of the American Academy of Physicians Assistants.
