Paul Calesimo is a licensed physical therapist specializing in orthopaedics, with additional areas of specialty including low and high velocity joint mobilization, manual therapy, and spine care. He joined The DeClaire LaMacchia Orthopaedic Institute in May 2012.
Paul received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Purdue in 1992, his Physical Therapy Assistant degree from Macomb Community College in 1997 and was Summa Cum Laude, graduated with his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Oakland University in 2003, his Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy with Oakland University in 2006, and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Oakland University in 2011, with a two year orthopedic residency, which were all Magna Cum Laude.
Paul spent four semesters as a teaching assistant at Oakland Physical Therapy program and was a lacrosse coach for nine years. He is passionate about his work as a Physical Therapist and it shows as he strategically customizes a plan of action for each patient he has the pleasure of working with.
